ROAR The Cure

ROAR The Cure honored Mr. Randy Jones of Nationwide at its 10th Annual ROAR the Cure “Never Say Cancer Again” James Bond Gala, at The Club in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Mr. Jones has a compelling life story in regards to cancer having lost a sister to the disease and as well another sister and brother who are cancer survivors. He brings a passion to fighting cancer at every opportunity as this year’s ROAR honoree.
ROAR the Cure is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise money for The University of Alabama (UAB) Radiation Oncology Department to help find cancer cures with cutting edge research. Funds are matched dollar for dollar by UAB physicians. The event included a silent auction, a live auction conducted by Granger Thagard Auctioneers, dancing, and a Gala dinner.
