Harvest of Hope Gala

The Women’s Service Board

The Women’s Service Board hosted their 16th annual Harvest of Hope Gala at the Barber Motorsports Museum benefitting the Cornerstone Schools of Alabama. Guests enjoyed live music by Eric Essix, a special wine tasting, cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, as well as a brief program highlighting Cornerstone’s many triumphs and successes over the past year.   They bid on art from students and local artists, an exquisite selection of jewelry, accessories, and gift cards from local businesses along with one-of-a-kind collector’s items. The 2019 Harvest of Hope recognized Honoree, Mr. Jim Proctor, and the Volunteer of the Year, Mrs. Julie Blumenthal.  As always, 100% of the proceeds benefitted the 590 students at Cornerstone Schools of Alabama.  The food was provided by Five Star Catering and the Wine Tasting by Pinnacle Imports.
