The 38th annual ArtBLINK Gala was back in person at the Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital! ArtBLINK is the primary fundraiser for the Advisory Board of the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB. Nineteen local artists created original works of art in 90 minutes at the event—in the blink of an eye! Patrons had the opportunity to bid on these original works by way of silent auction.
Money raised from the evening benefits the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Fund for Excellence, a fund focused on high-priority research efforts.
Each year the board selects an ArtBLINK Director’s Circle honoree, someone who has greatly contributed to the Cancer Center’s success over the years. This year, the board honored Gray and Lee Thuston and the Thuston Family.
