The first ever Magic Moments Magic Show at the Alabama Theatre was a magical afternoon for people of all ages! Not only did this fundraiser serve as an opportunity to help Magic Moments reach more children with chronic, life-threatening illnesses, but it also served as a unique Beyond the Moment opportunity for previous Magic Moment recipients and their families, who were invited to attend at no cost. Although the show was astounding, the real magic happened at intermission when a Birmingham child was told that their Magic Moment request – a trip to the 2019 Super Bowl – was being granted! The family pre-show took place in the lobby where children enjoyed face painting, a photo booth, balloon art and more. The show itself followed and included a short intermission. Previous Magic Moment recipients were also included in the show as junior magicians.
