The 7th Annual Sweetwater Outreach Gala & Auction took place on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the B&A Warehouse in downtown Birmingham. The event began with a cocktail hour, live music by Tom Gassaway, dinner, a silent auction, and a live auction for the Adopt-a-School program. Guests had the opportunity to bid on incredible items such as original artwork, excursions, wine baskets, massage gift cards, and more.
This event benefited Sweetwater Outreach’s future projects, including the Water for Schools project, which provides water access and purification to schools in Kenya. The Adopt-a-School program gives donors an opportunity to make a direct impact by partnering with a specific school and providing a purification system.
Sweetwater Outreach (501c3) began in Birmingham 12 years ago and has worked in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, the Congo and Sierra Leone. With community support, Sweetwater Outreach hopes to continue to grow and duplicate its sustainable model in more countries in the future.
