The Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce held its annual luncheon at the Grand Bohemian Mountain Brook. This was a huge celebration for the entire community. It is the one time of year Mountain Brook’s city, library, school system, and Chamber come together to celebrate some of the people who make Mountain Brook great. The Chamber presented the Jemison Visionary Award to Bill Bowron of Red Diamond Coffee for his work on the Rathmell Sports Complex.Emmet O’Neal Library presented the Tynes Award to Alice Williams. The City of Mountain Brook awarded its Employee of the Year Award to Hunter Simmons, City GIS Manager. Sponsors included Alabama Power, Emmet O’Neal Library, RealtySouth Mountain Brook Village, and Regions Bank.
