Red Mountain Theatre announced the upcoming 26-27 Season during a cocktail party for the members of their Dress Circle Society. Guests mingled with actors from recent RMT shows, enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and custom cocktails, and guessed the upcoming musicals from clues around the Grand Lobby. Executive Director Jennifer Jaquess and Singh Artistic Director Roy Lightner then proudly announced each of the five upcoming musicals, with a performance of a song from each.
Excitingly, two of the titles in 26-27 are fresh off Broadway or National Tour runs: Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations and The Bridges of Madison County. They’ll be joined by the annual Holiday Spectacular, a summer revival of Annie, and as the fourth annual co-production with UAB Department of Theatre, Mean Girls.
