The Funky Fish Fry is held every April to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month. The event is hosted by the junior boards of Mitchell’s Place and the Autism Support of Alabama in support of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Birmingham and beyond. Their goal in creating this event is to prove that giving back to the community and raising awareness should not break the bank.
