What lead you to your current profession:
A career of being a banker lending money to builders and developers, an award-winning marketing career, and a personal interest in real estate and helping others with the AMERICAN DREAM of owning a home.
How do you balance work & life:
Tough, “Just do it” as NIKE says. I carve out breaks in my week to set aside for my family and myself (manicures, pedicures are my guilty pleasure) and for my family it involves a family meal, time together at the lake, watching my children active in their sports of golf and horseback riding.
Why are you optimistic about 2021:
I’m optimistic that we will suppress Covid-19 with the vaccine and all move forward with our economic recovery in which our extremely low mortgage interest rates will continue to help us do so in the United States.
Tell us about your company's commitment to our community:
My goal has always been to take a hands-on approach in my community. Before founding Birmingham Homes Online, I was committed to making our community a better place in which to live. As a former Cub Scout leader, I enjoyed helping nurture future community leaders. As a parent of an equestrian, knowing the value of Cahaba Pony Club, a 55-year-old non-profit that provides educational opportunities for our youth, I helped revive the organization and save it from folding. I served as its district commissioner, helping bring in new members and educational opportunities. I also serve on the Board of the Alabama Hunter Jumpers Association and hope to bring my many years of marketing experience to the table to assist this wonderful non-profit continue to do great things for youth and adult riders. Additionally, as a parent of a youth golfer, I helped organize carpool and other logistics for practices. Together with Birmingham Homes Online, I am able to show off our beautiful community to potential home buyers in Alabama or those from out of state. I look forward to finding our clients the perfect place to call home!
